Living Together in L'Arche

We are people with and without disabilities sharing life in a community of faith. Mutual relationships and trust in God are at the heart of our life together. We seek to build a world that recognizes the unique value of every person and our need for one another.

We are one of 16 L'Arche communities in the U.S. and one of 135 communities in 36 countries around the world.

About our Community...

Be an Assistant

Living, working, praying and playing together, core members and assistants are transformed through relationships of mutuality, respect and companionship. Our assistants accompany our core people in their daily activities and at home.  Some assistants choose to live in the home; others live out.

In addition to a fulfilling, life-changing experience, we offer our assistants a great benefits package.  Not only can you save your earnings by living in a home, but our participation in AmeriCorps allows you to accrue up to $9,450 to apply to your future education or current educational loans.
